f8 frames are the ultimate in precision. Everything is press fit—threadless stems and threadless bottom brackets. Threadless cogs, too.

We use a custom machined cog on our standard belt drive fixies, a cog that we designed with the help of Phil Wood Co. Our cogs and hubs use an ISO 6 bolt pattern (disc hub pattern) instead of a threaded lockring. This means no lockrings to strip or fail on those epic skids, and no funky adapters to keep in your toolkit.

Our belt and cog system engage completely for reduced friction and wear. Designing a belt-driven bicycle—especially a fixed gear—requires an accurate chainline and a stiff drivetrain. It will not tolerate anything less than perfect. Neither do we.
